Senior Customer Financial Officer, Corporate Finance Located in Social Care
We are looking to recruit a Senior Customer Financial Officer to be responsible for the day to day operation of the Client Affairs and Financial Assessment & Income Collection Officers.
The successfully candidate will have proven experience working in Client Affairs and / or a Financial Assessment Team and possess excellent customer care skills.
You will manage 2 staff who are responsible for deputyship, property protection, burials, and estate cases of residents of the borough; and 2 staff who will undertake financial assessment, billing, and income collection for client contributions towards residential care fees. You will also manage your own caseload.
The successful person will be aware of best practice in care and support for vulnerable people and have a thorough understanding of Safeguarding, Mental Capacity, and the Care Act, including Property Protection.
